    Broccoli. Anything green really.

    When I was a kid, I despised asparagus. I was fine with pretty much anything else, so I didn’t get any complaints from my parents. Then all of the sudden, I was fine with it. Now I can’t think of any vegetable that I wouldn’t eat as long as it has decent preparation.

      Happened to me with broccoli. When I became an adult, a switch flipped at some point and it became one of my favourite vegetables. Similar thing with green peppers in my teens.

        My husband loves all sorts of veggies (I call him my rabbit), but one of the few exceptions is that he despises green peppers.

    That’d be green beans. In Germany they are aptly named “Brechbohnen” which can be interpreted as “vomiting-beans”.
