Were polar oppasates lol. Cosmic is what made me switch, along with the pop shop and good out of the box support. I love cosmic, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to Gnome.
Its like the, “Ask website not to track” feature in FireFox. Its really like saying, “Oh no, Please don’t track me”.
Pop is great. Its like all of the good of Ubuntu with none of the bad. No snaps, the graphical app store supports flatpak, Cosmic is godly and may be my new favorite desktop environment, and all my drivers for gaming are pre-installed.
I honestly think eventually the BSD’s will trump Linux. They are fast, minimal, they are having more support by the day, and things like GhostBSD are making them more accesable. I would probably use FreeBSD If it actually supported my hardware lol.

That’s an amazing analogy.

Just noticed the spelling error. I don’t have access to my computer at the moment but as soon as I get home I am going to fix it.
Oh shit, I meant to say that you can’t run appimages with Musl.
Silly Daniel, everyone knows ESR is the real best firefox.

Yes, but the whole argument that a lot of people have against the cloud is that it is going to shut down eventually. If I buy a game on my laptop, its mine. I own it. But if I get it on the cloud, once the cloud goes down I am never getting that game back. Even if it’s a army of supercomputers its still flawed in that you can never really ‘own’ anything you get on the cloud because it is running on someone else’s machine.
Yes. As someone who has Guix System on a Rasbery Pi and the Guix package manager on my Void installation, I can confirm.
I bike to work regardless. Cars are super inneficent and kill a lot of people. Add the fact that they are expensive.
OK, but, the cloud has to run on Something. The Cloud, by deffinition, is running on a computer that’s not yours.
