I use Scrambled Exif right now. Could you tell me what issues you have with the dev? I just downloaded it from F-Droid and haven’t looked into the dev.

exifcleaner is a good tool, but uses Electron :( https://github.com/szTheory/exifcleaner
Scrambled Exif is free software on the F-Droid store and does the job!
