Yes, that was a poll and lotta discussion:
I’m Arnold Schrijver (he/him). Social coder. #FOSS, #HumaneTech and #Fediverse advocate.
I help foster #Solutions that improve #Wellbeing, #Freedom and #Society
My mission is to “Reimagine Social” and I envision the rise of a #Peopleverse where social networking is seamlessly entwined with daily life.
However, I do no longer do that here. My new and friendly home is at @smallcircles
Feel free to enjoy some of my old posts I keep here around.
Yes, that was a poll and lotta discussion:
Though it applies to the Fediverse, in this post I included the video “Let’s play and win our own game!” by Darius Kazemi. The idea aligns with Snowden’s and all kinds of strategies are discussed.
The Github Discusions is relatively new feature they added. I did not see many projects yet that are very actively using it.
I am writing this comment from Mastodon. You can find a Lemmy account there by searching for your account handle.
In general things federate back and forth, but it is not ideal yet (and there were some things breaking with latest Mastodon release).
For instance in Mastodon I cannot see the Lemmy post body text, only the title. And from Mastodon you cannot create Lemmy posts.
I have a separate Lemmy account at @humanetech@lemmy.ml for that.
I don’t know what exactly the considerations are, and the hurdles, and maybe this is being worked at (my knowledge is stale, and having never migrated, 2nd hand too :D )
@humanetech@lemmy.ml holy moly… my lemmy profile on mastodon. Don’t follow that guy :p
This is a test comment coming from Mastodon.
This is my test… a sub-comment.

On that bit you might find @ohn and https://openhospitality.network interesting to check out.
