The World’s Tallest Tepee. Though probably more famous for how it was vandalized.

We’re the hate crime capital of Canada, and simultaneously the “silicon valley of the north”.

The economic tension between software engineers driving teslas, STEM students, and working class people is palpable.

Being the only city in the state/province with an allegedly viable economy (due to IT) while the rest of the province writhes in poverty due to negligence.

Where is that? It’s kinda familiar scene in eastern parts of europe: capital is doing well while the rest of the country is in complete shambles.

Probably for having a big fucking tower that looks like Barad-Dur. And another one that’s a big fucking brick cellphone. Also recently because of a black dog that became a symbol for resistance and revolution.

My hometown is famous for having a midget village. The rumors are false because I actually grew up in the exact neighborhood the rumors were about. I’m not a midget (6’6"). Neither is Geraldo Rivera who moved there in the 90s.

Norman, as a university town, has famous stuff related to the university. There are 7 National Championships in football. But my favorite is that it employed Louis Jolyon West. He did a lot of experiments with LSD, including work for MK-Ultra and making an Elephant trip out (to the point that the elephant died).
