You know. We like to hate muricah. We like to hate bri’ish. But jesus fucking christ, living in Eastern Europe I certainly hate Poland the most. As soon as nazis come to power that shithole turns into a comedic hyena trying to bite off whatever falls near it and then with no fucking shame they scream how THEY are the ones getting abused when their own bullshit backfires.

Poland for sure has some benefits to this but it seems like the US likes to do this because it sort of blocks Russia from moving further west. If Western Ukraine is in the hands of a NATO country Russia will have to decide if it is worth it to attack NATO or to keep control over the East and let the west be. It would also be a reason for NATO to deploy actual troops to Ukrainian soil under the guise of protecting Poland.

Poland on the other hand needs to do the same. I hope they are not stupid enough to push further west.

In this scenario it will also be interesting to see how the Ukrainian people react to this. On the one hand your questionable neighbor invades you and on the other hand your so called ally will sell you out to your other questionable neighbor, leaving you with no country.

Banderites and polish rightwingers hate Russia and love USA much more than they hate eachother (and they hate eachother plenty). They are also on the various lenghts into fascism. So there are common enemy, common master and common idelogy.

Fuck it starts to look like some fantasy dark lord army.

So they’re lambasting Russia for invading Ukraine while plotting to invade Ukraine? How does this make sense? Oh right, it’s only bad if someone the US doesn’t like does it.

Indeed. On the one hand, I hope they don’t do it - because it’s risking nuclear war. On the other hand - I am quite curious how they will justify this “invasion of a sovereign country”. “Noyoudontgetititsdifferent”

an unfriendly reminder the Poles were leading human rights abuses against Ukrainians in that region, which was one of the USSR’s justifications to “”“invade”“” in the 30s.

The notion that Poland would be “taking back” that region is absurd considering it was never actually rightfully theirs. It was not given to them as a result of WW1, instead they just decided to invade and take it in 1920 despite it being majority Ukrainian, not Polish. They spent the next 20 years trying to colonize it with Poles, but really all they managed is to place Polish landlords over a Ukrainian majority population. Stalin taking this so-called “Eastern Poland” back into Ukraine/Belarue was the right call.

That being said, i doubt the Poles will have much fun nowadays trying to rule over what can now only be called Banderastan. They will soon be reminded of what exactly the ideological descendants of the OUN-B thinks of Polish people…

        rightfully

It was kinda rightful according to medieval dynastic politics, but once that rubbish were sweeped out in the mill of history, not anymore.

Unsure. Until few months ago i would definitely dounbt it since the kresowiacy finally mostly died off and their revanchism died with them. Few remaining people advocating for Grodno (Belarus), Lwów, Tarnopol or even Kijów were properly treated as clowns.

But now… it is even worse idea, we already have millions of Ukrainians in Poland, most probably a lot of them will stay. You know what would be worse than the fascist Poland which is absolutely certain to slide into after serious crisis? A Polukraine.

You won’t. It isn’t necessarily true too, since it’s quite tasty as a disninformation, and as i said there are clues both for and against it.

I guess we must first see if Russia do want to divide Ukraine and to cut it from the sea, and how the war will progress.

polish history education is an actual freak of nature. it is really difficult to describe, as if they teach children that poland was mistreated by everyone around them and how “bad things were happening to us despite helping everyone :(”

while at the same time, lets barely mention any actual successes of the polish state. lets not teach people that poland was once a multicultural state and a strong one at that (and that it was destroyed by greed and corruption of the “nobles”). lets not teach people that these “horrible commie traitors” actually are responsible for rebuilding the nation and the welfare systems that lifted millions from poverty, disease and illiteracy. systems that our fascist government is so busy dismantling. what programme of 3rd RP can even fucking look at the “1000 schools for 1000th anniversary of the polish state” without shitting itself in inadequacy? the vaccination programs? the urban planning?

be as it may, the history education produced desired results, you cant fault it for that. it produced neat little fascists, some more in favor of traditions and religions, others in favor of american imperialism and liberalism. it plants the seed of hate, from very young ages. it just grows from there. the fruit is a pathetic doormat of a nation that wouldn’t mind feeding itself with dirt as long as these darn ruskies are suffering.

in case you havent noticed, i am so proud of my heritage. so much that i would probably be stripped of citizenship by the mob.

Back then it actually had much sense. Khmelnycky uprising was in large part about it in fact, cossacks and less-polonised ruthenian nobility would love to see it, and it was passed in polish sejm as Union of Hadiach, but it was too late and after prorussian coup in the Sich it was never fully implemented.

The January Uprising idea was more desperate, though iirc ukrainian nationalism was not in the full swing yet, so considering the JU was noble based, the idea had some base too. If only they did won, then maybe, and maybe both ukrainian and polish nationalism would develop in the different direction.

We ultimately all are just reaping what the fucking black eagles sown back them.

Too soon to tell imo. Sometimes crazy ideas gets thrown out there in foreign intelligence circles before they’re tossed to the wayside. Not definitive.
