I don’t see why a male body part should be the personification of bad conduct. Why does it say “don’t be a dick or a nazi”? Why not “don’t be a removed or a nazi”? At least either/or. “Everything is allowed, just don’t be a dick/removed or a nazi.” The site rules say no sexism. Well, epitomizing an entire gender as bad is sexism as far as I can see.
Edit: The word I tried to write above is also used as a word for a *ussy-cat. Okay… didn’t expect that to be blocked on here. I just wanted to make a lighthearted joke, but apparently, using the female body part isn’t allowed here. That’s honestly very weird. You can’t really laugh about not using “dick”, but then proceed to disallow the same word for the “other” female part.
I can’t really understand why this word is blocked here.
Either way I say the argument is strong. Sure, more work should be put into moving the gender divide by focusing on feminism. Helping the most vulnerable and oppressed helps everyone else experiencing issues from that oppression. But long term, if you’re saying that gendered slurs such as removed or removed are oppressive you must admit that terms such as dick are also gendered insults and -in good faith- should not be used.
As an ausie “bad words” in terms of non-gendered curse words is a bit of a silly and strange concept. Even the word removed (a word for the female genitals) hardly gets a blink. It’s also a very nice word to say. I would not say it’s gendered as being a removed has no gendered association, even though the word does come from gendered origin. But imo, let me know what you think

I think your claim is a bit overreaching. Most swear words are perfectly unisex: removed, removed, dick, douche etc.
Well… one could wonder what the first two swear words are you tried to write.
lol the fuck with this auto moderation? That’s kinda lame of lemmy 😬

Don’t be a removed. ;)

oh wow I didn’t know this site auto-removed those words lol
I maintain my original sentiment towards the OP, but I do agree that’s really silly
stop trying so hard to be offended? i don’t have to try to be offended by blatant sexism. why do you endorse sexism?
