When did Zelensky become king of the world anyway? Suddenly this guy is being seen in every country, speaking for places that don’t even know or care who he is, and this is on top of the billions of dollars being sent to his mailbox.

I believe the US have a very well oiled PR machine that they can just set off on whoever they need. Look at Guaido, or that kid Joshua Wong. One day they’re obscure figures (to the west) that you would only have heard of if you cared about local politics, and the next they’re the second coming of Jesus Christ and the biggest freedom fighters the world has ever seen. But at no point are you chastised for not knowing who they are, the media just acts like you’ve always known who these persons were.

I find it weird also that Zelensky is speaking to the African Union when his cities are being sieged. I think it will come out soon that the US has lost confidence in Ukraine and will leave them to the wolves. They’re parading him around while he still has some rep left.

It works the other way too, when US assassinated Qasem Suleimani nobody in the west had any idea who he was, but then the next day everyone is absolutely certain he was the biggest terrorist ever known to man.

Pull the UN out of Africa, stop the AID, and leave Africa to […] China

You know what, I think they would prefer that.

“He who feeds you, controls you” - Thomas Sankara

[any other quote about food aid in Africa by Thomas Sankara] - Thomas Sankara

    • According to an internal source, all the heads of state of the continent were invited but, aside from Macky Sall, only three of them participated from their respective presidential offices: Alassane Ouattara of Côte d’Ivoire, Mohammed el-Menfi, President of the Libyan Council, and Denis Sassou Nguesso of Congo.

Wow, based. I really need to get out of the global north.

    Edit: Presidents that attended:

    • Senegal
    • Ivory Coast
    • Libya
    • Republic of the Congo (not the Democratic Republic of the Congo)

I’d guess they would have much more important matters to deal with in their country due to colonialization in the past, IMF loans that were taken from the resources of every developing country by developed ones to assist them in remaining in their same position, the whole corruption of government officials from western countries trying to influence them and being forced to deal with the aftermath (see Libya as an example).

I would believe that they do not want to listen to yet another one of such leaders, especially when the situation does not involve them to begin with.
