Has there ever been a large scale coporation that has been ethical. As sad as it is, it is to be expected at this point from them.

I know it is pointless arguing with a centrist. But how is promoting diverse characters an agenda. Why is it only if the characters isn’t part of the usual “status quo” that it is considered as such.

People have already gotten offended by the female protagonist when it got leaked a few months prior. Anything that isn’t a cisgender straight white able-bodied male is considered “too woke” for them.

China is showing the world how it is done.

You would think at this point, that white supremacists would stop embarrassing themselves. But I guess even they know how ludicrous and imbecilic their movement is, so they just want the world to know.

Considering the economic recession most of the world is undergoing with the inflation of goods and housing, the stagnation of salaries, increase in complaints by unions and overall workers’ protesting. We are seeing a decline, even if its small at the moment of capitalism. Hopefully, they don’t make a more shittier version of it that just benefits the rich even more and furthers the margin of equality between the rich and poor.

So basically we are paying $70 for AAA games in order to view ads, similarly to how free to play mobile games do this business model besides the requirement of a paywall blocking access to content.

And we all know that this ad revenue will be going to Microsoft themselves (we have seen something similar in terms of subscription fees for Xbox Live going to Microsoft solely as well) and not the actual developers of these games, making it even more corrupted.

It would be more hilarious and sad if this were to occur on multiplayer games as well, where they require you to have a susbcription if you want to play with your friends online.

I am wondering, does that person really thinks you can become a professional historian without a degree.

Surprising that they did not feed into the propoganda and spread further misinformatipn about China. It seems that is a trend for alot of large western media.

I shall never understand the reasoning behind wanting (and successfully overturning) abortion rights. Even with their biggest detractors of abortion, those laws did not stop women from procreating, it allowed those with lesser income and lower social class (because capitalism) to be able to have an abortion.

It’s yet another case of those with privilege (and higher standing/power) wanting to further oppress the masses.

I know it’s a common stereotype to label that everything in America, in the context of worldwide politics, is centered alot on being right wing and that being a liberal in America is like being a conservative elsewhere.

But they are constantly proving the stereotype to be true.

Especially when they still have far-right publications such as the Daily Wire or “insert any religious, pseudo-family values used as justification to complain about any progress being made to any group of currently oppressed individuals”.

I’d guess they would have much more important matters to deal with in their country due to colonialization in the past, IMF loans that were taken from the resources of every developing country by developed ones to assist them in remaining in their same position, the whole corruption of government officials from western countries trying to influence them and being forced to deal with the aftermath (see Libya as an example).

I would believe that they do not want to listen to yet another one of such leaders, especially when the situation does not involve them to begin with.

Anytime there is any discussion about the failures of capitalism, especially seen worldwide throughout the pandemic, there is always a supporter whether it be a liberal or conservative who makes the claim that, “iTs nOt CaPiTaLisM, iTs CoPoRaTism” as though we have to believe this is the case everywhere and that those two do not lead to one another. In which case, you know they have gone too far down into lunacy.

Anarchists are making more ridiculous claims every second.

I believe OpenBSD does not include any proprietary software in its repositories. Or at least, I know that it does not have any proprietary drivers or microcode.

Modern China is responsible for a third of the world’s good, not to mention an increasing economy.

Complacency, lack of willingness to learn anything that differ from their previous perspective/experience and general stubborness, basically.

Also Reddit is not exactly the place if you want an intellectual (or for any competent) discussion.

The irony is that the majority of games can be played on Linux natively or with wine/proton. The games that mostly have been given major problems is those with an antiquated version of their kernel level anti-cheat software (which thankfully only works in the userspace on Linux) or some form of DRM.

Realistically speaking, what did they except those countries to do when sanctions were placed. Russia either has to do that or be in a rough economical hardship that would be felt by the average citizen. It’s also an opportunity for China and India to increase their oil importing from Russia due to the current situation.

Sanctions almost always never do what those in power expect it to do. I would never understand why they keep on using them.
