I think cooking vegan food can be very quick. Many bean burger recipes are just making a dough out of canned beans for example and frying it. A lot of food, like pasta with red sauce can be vegan. There’s normal red sauce in a jar out there that’s vegan by “accident”.

I’m not vegan/vegetarian and I prefer beyond meat or impossible meat to beef.

That’s so interesting, what do you two prefer about it? @seahorse@lemmy.ml
It’s not greasy, tastes good, and doesn’t make me feel all gross when I’m done eating it.
Whew, it was a sarcastic title.
No worries, Kurtzgesagt is not pro-meat.
I would buy lab grown meat just because it’s cool and to support the industry, but it doesn’t look like it’s a thing even for hobbiests yet. Regrettably, I have doubts it will ever hit the stores.
lab grown meat is like self driving cars. Could be here in a proper way (affordable and good) day, could still be 20 years in the future. Nobody knows. Is there a word for that?
“Buzzword”
Fortunately, plant-based alternatives are cropping up much faster and are becoming borderline palatable
