If Russian Imperialism not existing would make that much of a difference, then just imagine how the world would be if Western Imperialism didn’t exist.

Really not thrilled about the fact that western propaganda has been making healthy use of the term imperialism lately

It’s the term they weren’t able to completely distort yet, so as socialism is on the rise worldwide they need to make it completely illegible for their people.

They take oeft wing theory and appropriate it, just like everything else.

A liberal crying about second world imperialism makes me wanna touch them within glass coated fists.

I wish imperialism was a magical word that when incorrectly used by libs and westerners; it would conjure EVERY pain sensation the human body is capable of and that body feels all those pains at the end od every nerve in that body.

    Until. They. Fucking. Understand.

There’s already a word used to describe how Central and Eastern Europe would look if so‐called “Russian imperialism” didn’t exist.

    It’s called Lebensraum.

Yeah, just looks at the size of lithuanian empire before the union. And Commonwealth has been pushing east very often. If Zygmunt III wasn’t such an utter fanatic dumbass it could pretty easily ended in actual 3 nations union.

Almost as brain dead as the take from some Polish nationalist who complained that Russians dared to fight back during times of troubles and actually kicked interventionist out of their country and didn’t let them to build their cozy empire.

That particular pic is from Łódź (ŁKS grafitti for the local football team), city that fell under deindustrailization hard and as consequence it do looks a bit dilapidated, but most smaller cities and big parts of bigger ones looks exactly like this.

Btw that’s pre-socialist building, from style i would guess it’s classic “kamienica” from around 1900 plus minus 30 years.

I recently walked past the former headquarters of the European Central Bank. Just 200m away the streets look worse than that.

It looks similar. Let’s be honest. Everyone condemns thr shape of the square.

It’s basically equating utiliarian square brutalism with oppression.

Taking nothing into account that such architecture is based on post war French and English architecture.

And for the soviets? If it works; they would use it.

Belgium looks like both this and the pic in the post.

Hell, turning a block in Antwerp can mean the difference between this and futurism. And it’s a good city to live in, despite looking grungy in some parts.

Sure, in bigger cities there are very moden looking places even in Poland. As there are absolute slums, if not for the climate and mass socialist building we would drown in favelas already. Such posts like in OP imply averageness though.

Anti-colonial Soviet Russia from 1721 onward,
no joining the eight nation league,
no violation of the trade blockade with the UK during Napoleon,
    neutral during world war I.
Liberating all of Europe (except UK) during world war II.
Winning the cold war with more allies.
Central and Eastern Europe would still be communist today.
