Well, here goes nothing. Don’t turn it into a political battlefield pls.

I’m Chinese though I am no longer a Chinese citizen (now Canadian), and though I can speak Mandarin natively, my reading and writing aren’t great. Are there any Chinese speaking people who would like to help moderate this thing?

I’m a Chinese native so I don’t see why not. I sure hope something new gets posted here more often than I visit it. I also do hope (a lot) that I could receive reports via email. It’s gonna be a busy school year so I can’t do this alone; we can co-moderate.

Thank you for this community, ~fkfd

      You down to moderating?

I think you have to post something in the community before I can add you as a mod. I don’t see a way to enter an arbitrary username.

I bet you’re way ahead of me. I was doing lessons on Duolingo but can only talk about hot water

I’ve been learning mandarin for a few years now, it’s definitely doable, quite a challenge though. Finding native speakers to practice with is key.

it would be very cool to read/learn something non-political about China!

tbh i’m really tired of everything political related to it…
