it doesn’t have the original voice actor for bender though, i’m really hoping it won’t be bad but that’s a pretty big sign for me

For others wondering like me. John DiMaggio is not happy about pay for himself or the other voice actors.

" Dimaggio elaborated further, saying, “Bender is part of my soul & nothing about this is meant to be disrespectful to the fans or my Futurama family. It’s about self-respect. And honestly, being tired of an industry that’s become far too corporate and takes advantage of artist’s time & talent. The actor said he is “Still hoping for the best,” but the role of Bender is reportedly being recast at this time."

The actual number they are fighting about would be good to know to understand if he’s right or not.

No thanks. Disney owns the Simpsons and futurama now that they acquired fox. They already made a classic Disney character Simpsons move thing and it looks fuckin terrible. I have no doubt they’ll continue to fuck up futurama and much more.

Futurama ended perfectly and we do not need more.

Exactly. Too many shows have had a revival after a perfect ending. Arrested Development is the best example I can think of. They are hungry for money and will revivea great show from the grave like a necromancer revives the souls of the damned.

Wow really? I thought the later seasons of AD were pretty perfect. They got cancelled before they were able to do the ending they wanted if I remember correctly.

Season 3 had a great ending that wrapped everything up perfectly. Then, years later, Netflix revived the show for 2 more seasons, which were both worse than the 3 original seasons.

Ok? Are you being forced to watch it? Yes, all the shows turned to shit and futurama probably won’t be what it was, but so what?

Hulu’s making it. Whether that’s a good or bad thing though, is a little contentious among fans.
