That’s Russia right now. Announcing an ongoing genocide in Ukraine, moving 100k troops to the border, and then going “lol you cowards thought we were serious? Fuck you.” And then when the media cycle moves on and the world stops paying attention and Ukraine tries to go back to normal the troops will still be there waiting.
There’s a reason Trump and his supporters love Putin so much. They both confuse bullying with manliness.

The Southern military district is headquartered in Rostov on Don since 2010, which is 100 km from the Ukrainian border. It would be very strange if there were no military units stationed before this year.

That’s not what he said at all. Russia conduced a joint anti-terrorism exercise in Belarus that was scheduled back in 2019. You should learn some basic facts before running your mouth.
