I never understood the “Slow Children” warning sign. It’s the fast ones you have to be concerned about. The fast ones will run out in front of you before you have a chance to react.

I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not, but “slow” here means you slow down

My girlfriend bought me a shirt with this on it.

Who will buy a car as big as it? I mean, it will cost you a ton of money in fuel and finding a spot to park it will be complicated at minimun.

Can confirm, live in the US and probably 1/3 of the vehicles I see on the road are large pickup trucks that I doubt are even used to haul what they’re built for.

That GMC vehicle probably would be classified a truck outside USA/Canada/Australia. Thus requiring a license of a type mostly only pro drivers would have. Not that that fixes everything but would reduce risk (statistically).

        Not sure about that.

In Europe you can drive trucks up to 3.5 T with a car license.

        Taxes might reduces ownership tho.

Perhaps you make a point there. However, the discussion was more on traffic safety (and slightly about drivers with small members). So I do not know why you brought that up.

I’m in my 30’s and just about to get my license and first car. I’m having sticker shock as I start to calculate out how much it will cost me. Hopefully I can switch over to car sharing services as said car reaches the end of its lifetime. Most of my trips can be made by bike or transit, and for a small fraction of the price.

It’s more humane if they die on impact rather than from inner bleeding in the hospital.

The child standing in the blind spots of a SUV is the typical way for parents to accidentally kill their or their neighbors children
