The disposable SMS sites haven’t worked so far, will I just have to buy some?

My advice is to give up on Facebook. It’s not worth it. Even if you succeed in blocking them from collecting personal info, they will fabricate false info about you so they can sell it to advertisers.

Cool thing! Just be aware your account will be banned VERY quickly no matter what ;)

Everything I post on social media gets deleted eventually. I’m into privacy. Facebook banned me. They had no usable info on me.

Can you try a freeTalkatone number (free Android app)? it doesn’t work on all social media/verification, but it does work for some. They expire after nonuseage, but quickly give you a new number if you want it. But, that is linked to your phone’s mac address, i guess and other phone info.

Is it worth using those services? Do you need them for your professional work life? If no, you should consider ditching them. Instagram can be used without an account if you want to check few profiles anyway.

Then you have to have the resources to isolate properly. A complete ecosystem with a separate SIM every week and whatnot, if you are going to have Facebook and Instagram.

You only need a SIM to register the account, you don’t need to renew/change it every week :)

For avoiding detection and bans against scraping media, you should change your phone number.

I’m not sure changing phone very often helps avoid “detection”. I heard so as well, but i doubt this “breach” is gonna stay open very long, because it’s very trivial to check how often you change phone number which could trigger a flag for account review.

I meant making a fresh account with new phone numbers, and not associating new phone numbers with same account. There can be no history for an account review in that case, since there is a fresh slate each time.
