The people who are the most vocal about being oppressed by the slur filter are anglos who are actually the ones whom the filter is designed to inconvenience the least. Look at what this guy has to say for example:

First of all, a link aggregation platform is not a self-driving car (also cars are a failed experiment, public transport is the way). How often do these people have to type things like Sc*nthorpe or C*ntsington? This is the first time in my life I have had to walk around the slur filter landmine and I have been using Lemmy for a long time now.
