    How many nm is a normal consumer chip like Intel i5 or Ryzen 5?

        I saw in a recent video that Intel and AMD only design chips and all the chips are actually manufactured by TMSC.

          Intel also has 5nm, but their supply is pretty unreliable so IIRC it’s currently only used on their higher end mobile chips, where the efficiency benefits of a smaller process node makes the most difference.

      I expect so since it’s the most mature open architecture, and Chinese companies have already started building RISC-V chips.
