All other posts in other subreddits by me are also got removed.Voidlinux does not have a forum apart from this https://www.reddit.com/r/voidlinux/. So I thought It wought be nice to have an alternative.

/c/voidlinux doesn’t exist yet on lemmy.ml Would be cool to have more exposure for this interesting Linux distribution.

Exactly! This is what Im trying to do. But I like to do it officialy. Thats why I tried to draw Void devs attention towards Lemmy. May be I should create one for this excellent distro.

Most subs block this domain, because domains you have to pay hundreds of dollars for are seen as legitimate.

First I posted that r/linux AMA link to r/voidlinux. It was also removed.

Subs or Reddit itself? The message is from Reddit instead of AutoModerator or other bot that would suggest it’s configured by the sub so is it blocked side-wide now?

I think it also might be killing my email notifications. I’ve even added the noreply address as a contact, but… no matter how many I manually correct, spam folder

We might try to set up and use a different email provider, bc using an embedded one has failed a lot.

You could probably mention it in the way like dev[.]lemmy[.]ml so the spamfilter doesn’t know that is a domain.

Good idea:grinning face:

And it that also fails, voidlinux also has a google mailinglist, i think. You could also try to send a pull request to their website github where the lemmy voidlinux community is mentioned besides the one from reddit

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
