All other posts in other subreddits by me are also got removed.Voidlinux does not have a forum apart from this https://www.reddit.com/r/voidlinux/. So I thought It wought be nice to have an alternative.

      Exactly! This is what Im trying to do. But I like to do it officialy. Thats why I tried to draw Void devs attention towards Lemmy. May be I should create one for this excellent distro.

    Most subs block this domain, because domains you have to pay hundreds of dollars for are seen as legitimate.

      Subs or Reddit itself? The message is from Reddit instead of AutoModerator or other bot that would suggest it’s configured by the sub so is it blocked side-wide now?

      I think it also might be killing my email notifications. I’ve even added the noreply address as a contact, but… no matter how many I manually correct, spam folder

        We might try to set up and use a different email provider, bc using an embedded one has failed a lot.

    Yep, I talked about this on Reddit a couple weeks ago. They started putting filters against Lemmy instances up almost as soon as people started talking about moving. They started with small instances, but now they’re moving on to the larger ones.

    I had to use kek.gg just to share a link to my new community to the old subreddit.

    Edit: Is this really a three-year-old thread or is something wrong? If it is, how did it end up at the top of my “hot” feed!?

    1. Don’t link it at all, just do like “Lemmy dot ca”
    2. Don’t link it directly. You can link to an intermediate site that doesn’t get blocked (eg the GitHub that summarizes the Lemmy options or Pinterest (comment omitted)).
