    They would never have made it FOSS if AMD didn’t have their stuff FOSS aswell. Nvidia should start supporting FOSS drivers as well as AMD does.

          FOSS also involves licensing software so that modifications remain libre in the foreseeable future. Same reason why Android or Chromium might be open-source but aren’t exactly considered FOSS.
