New Reddit is really not a pleasant website to use imo, specially on mobile. Too much stuff everywhere, lots of unnecessary features too. Like @dragnucs@lemmy.ml said on another comment, Reddit has become way more individual-focused rather than content-focused. Using old.reddit.com or i.reddit.com (or Slide) are the only ways I can use the platform nowadays. They cut back the bloat quite a lot.
Either way, I also have problems with the platform due to its closed nature and all that comes with it.

Are you talking about new Reddit? Because old Reddit’s UI is fine imho.

I think MarcellusDrum by old Reddit, means old.reddit.com, which I consider to be superrior to the current Reddit UI.
