Unfortunately the obvious ones are already taken (lemmy.social, lemmy.org) or incredibly expensive (lemmy.com). Do you have any other ideas for a good domain? Or alternatively, we could just go with lemmy.ml.

      There’s differing information out there about a Malaysian presence being required, too

        I mean most of country domains restriction are not enforced that’s why the articles like you posted yourself are so surprising. .my is relatively common TLD and I couldn’t find any news on seizure of .my domains yet.

          fun side note: .cat has to have Catalan affiliation, which is why nyan.cat has a Catalan translation

            hahah, my website http://wisdom.cat/about actually has patched in translation too 😄 Though in all fairness I made it I was staying in Catalonia if that counts 🤔
