What is the best private Tiktok alternative? I have not really seen an alternative app to Tiktok that is private
minus-squareHelixlink11•edit-23 years agoPixelfed is one of the alternatives to Tiktok which is Open Source, allows federation via ActivityPub and can be self hosted. You can only upload mp4 videos right now, they don’t really say which formats work well and which don’t, though.

There isn’t an open source alternative that is exactly like TikTok’s format, PixelFed has stories however.
