      It’s botanically classified as a fruit, but many things we’d call vegetables are classified as fruits (cucumbers, aubergine), and some things we’d call fruits are classified as vegetables (rhubarb), so I don’t think the scientific classification makes sense in normal communication, unless you’re specifically talking about the scientific aspect of them.
