It is a Firefox-based Fork with some security fixes like disabled-telemetry etc

LibreWolf is my daily driver.

I’m using Libera PRO. But this may changes.

Open-Sourse at the first moment. But Lemmy offer so much more then only being a Reddit in Open-Source.

Does it not depend on other DNS provider or does it itself?

Bromite is a good Browser, if you like Google’s UI. The bromite webview requires root. That’s why I don’t use it.

I’m not in the whole brave thing in. But… For me LibreWolf is for the desktop a better choice, it offers many more privacy settings and is based on Firefox. And on my Android I use “Privacy”. It disables JS at deafault and has some great handy tools. However, Brave doesn’t have such things. Also does Brave looks soo commercial.

Yes. They use Gnome but want Flutter apps instead of native Gnome tools. Why? I don’t like Flutter, also for Android…

Same for me. It runs on my Android 7.1. For the two others it has too less performance, I guess. Foxy Droid runs very stable. :D

Yes, it could be. On F-Droid is a bit more “strict” way to publish an app than on Izzy’s repo.

F-Droid supports multiple architectures. See Fennec F-Droid where combining these architectures to one APK is not able. But if that’s used, our bot can’t auto-update apps…

For more questions, just ask :D

F-Droid is an installable catalogue of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) applications for the Android platform. The client makes it easy to browse, install, and keep track of updates on your device.

dvd is in my opinion the best mobile client for youtube-dl (are there any others?)
