why lemmur on Izzy on droid repo is 7mb and on official fdroid repo it is 20 somthing mbs!!!
Its because the F-Droid build includes binaries for multiple architectures in the same apk. You can open it with any zip program to see. @shilangyu@lemmy.ml
Probably the wrong place to ask this, but why was that decided? For instance, google play also supports multiple architectures but just exposes the apk for the current architecture to reduce the apk size
Thats something you have to ask the F-Droid maintainers ;)
F-Droid supports multiple architectures. See Fennec F-Droid where combining these architectures to one APK is not able. But if that’s used, our bot can’t auto-update apps…

Edit: Apparently it’s not maintained any more.
It doesn’t look possible to add a different instance. Even trying to add lemmy.ml again shows “Instance not found”.
Yep, its a dead project. Jerboa is the one I made, that’s active.
