I suspect they have shared bandwidth. One day I get huge download speeds through sometimes one day it slows down. Note torrents usually download fast only direct download goes slow (use IDM for boost)
How does it compare when hosting own instance. I have dedicated server and probably going to spin up instance just for me and friends.
Is this why app removed my account after app update?
I use Auction server from Hetzner and it’s amazing + you have 1 GBps connection in most of them :)
Private trackers are probably much better choice :)
If only people would realise how I2P is perfect tool for torrenting :)
Thanks for sharing. I have look at that one and decided to give it a go :) https://place.madiator.com/
I want federated PR system :)
Imagine game where you could easly transfer character between hosted servers :)
If KDE would do it people would fork it or switch to diffrent DE :)
Still issue with web based instances is that it’s not true P2P. It’s more like demo of LBRY protocol. Diffrence is that CDN servers on my instance is local running SDK that stream blobs directly from P2P network and do not touch reflector servers hosted by LBRY Inc.
sudo apt install ./nameofdebfile.deb
I think most people are active as Tor or I2P node. Though I prefer I2P even they are less nodes.
It’s hard to build network at first when you have to little peers added.
Do you have some photo of this device? Isn’t it’s just raspberry pi with attached HDD?
Issue is it’s not decentralized :/
I never was able to use it corectly. Stuck at loading screen all time :(
On my instance I cant even see comments :/
