Anyone know where I can read a copy of what’s probably actually a great children’s book?

Here’s a sample:
Cinderella’s step sisters chop off parts of their feet to fit in the slipper. The crows then peck out their eyes and they spend their lives as blind beggars.
Sleeping beauty is not kissed awake by a prince (and even that would be considered sexual assault in most modern countries as it’s still non-consentual contact of a sexual nature or with sexual intent), instead, she is r*ped by a king, gets pregnant in her sleep, and wakes up due to the pain of childbirth.
The little mermaid doesn’t just trade her voice for human legs, she also gets cursed that every step she takes as a human will feel like walking on knives. When the prince cheats on her, she is given the recourse of killing him to prevent her own death. She refuses to at the last minute, and throws herself into the sea where she dissolves.
Still want to talk about how Soviet kids stories are apparently the worst?
There’s also that one story (I forgot the name) that kids burn a woman to death. Granted, she’s a witch, but still…

The woodcutter opposes the plan, but his wife claims that maybe a stranger will take the children in and provide for them, which the woodcutter and she simply cannot do.
Yep, off to a good start.

His PhD is published as a book, too. It’s called, The Author: Towards a Marxist Approach to Authorship. You might be interested in it. This one’s self published, I think, so it’s hard to get a copy. It’s rather academic, though.
Glad he as more educational socialist work, excited to dive into that (strangely I love more academic works for binge reading).
