No, the division in the U.S. today is just dumb culture war bullshit which will probably pass in a few years— as I like to say, conservatives are just liberals without the latest update. While the pawns are divided and slinging shit at one another like morons, the kings, bishops, and knights are probably dining at the same table having a hoot and a holler.

It’s nowhere near the gravity of the North-South division in the prelude to the Civil War, which was between two different modes of production (slave-based agrarian proto-capitalism and wage-labor-based industrial capitalism) and two opposing sections of the bourgeoisie (Southern planters and landlords and Northern industrialists).

On the contrary, I would argue that the capitalist powers that be have never been so united.

Not as such, no. The liberals and the fascists are aligned and will join forces to crush any insurrection or rebellion coming from the left or from any of the the internal colonized nations. For a civil war situation to arise there would have to be some kind of parallel state structure established that can control land, resources, industry and armed forces and that is opposed to the current US government. I guess the states theoretically are a sort of government-within-a-government but realistically they are too systemically intertwined and too aligned in their material interests and ideology with the federal government, despite some partisan theatrics every now and then.

What is likely to happen are increasing amounts of terrorist violence and clashes between state forces and spontaneous uprisings of the most oppressed and exploited groups in society, but unless these can unite and organize to mount a cohesive resistance they will quickly be co-opted or brutally put down by the police and military.

No, because of the lack of parallel structures as another commenter stated. However, it is likely we will see multiple coup attempts at local, state, and federal levels and some will succeed. Some through legal means, some through illegal means, some through violence. All towards consolidating discipline in the hands of the reactionary fascist bloc.
