what exactly is a gold crown? i have about 100 hours in the game but i have never heard of this mechanic.
Gold crown is a particularly large or small monster. They are legitimately bigger models in game as well. Only a little but it’s noticeable when you get wrecked by one thinking your spacing was adequate.
Where do I find gold crown monsters?
Any normal hunt and some special hunts. Its random whether a monster will be a gold crown.
