    The thread is actually quite long and brings some other examples, like Reddit. Creepy as fuck but I’m not really surprised apps snoop into your clipboard. Any AppOps manager on android will exhibit a permission to decide whether an app can access the clipboard, I’m not fond of how the permission can be used by apps but I always remove it except for AnySoftKeyboard

    Let us be honest, ruining TikTok’s largest user base was part of the massive anti-China US propaganda going on during this US-China trade war. While TikTok did this, surprisingly no news outlet or pseudo privacy stans posted about the 53 other apps that did the same thing, majority of which were USA news outlet official apps and games.

    I should mention that I was the first to post about it on the whole of Reddit on my r/privatelife and c/privatelife mirror. Funnily, some posters and news outlets later started mentioning it about two days later.
