Does anyone know if there are visions for the future of authentication in federated networks? A bit tired of creating accounts on multiple Fediverse servers, whereas in non-federated world you can log in using your social network account. How could a single sign-on approach look in the Fediverse?

I saw some talk about this on Mastodon, but I don’t think that anyone is working on it. Anyway you will probably have more luck asking on masto.
Makes sense, will ask there too. Wondering if one has ever got an idea on that, just discussing ideas will work for me for now.
