On another note, we should create a community for dunking on Elon

Creating a community to dunk on Elon is actually a great Idea, we would have plenty of posts and we could even attract the attention of other people who deslike Elon, including moderate leftists and some libs, and expose them to communist ideas on lemmygrad.

Big deal, I also “defied physics” more than enough times, notably when I missed a rogue minus sign that lost me half a fucking mark in the midterms

“Defies physics” is a good way to smell bullshit stories based on purely theoricall technobabble that has yet to be tested

I feel bad for Americans because Musk is their only hope for any cool technological advancements to come to their country but it always turns out to be some capitalist grift. They’ll never even get a high speed rail because they keep supporting their shitty system.

It’s literally impossible for anything with a mass greater than 0 to reach the speed of light… not that a Musk fan would know that, or even Musk himself.

I can only find a ton of dumb articles online, telling fantastic stories. Is there any description of what this device is supposed to be? Or is the story fake?

If you break the law, you go to jail.

If you break the laws of physics, you get a Nobel prize.

Guessing Elong qualifies for the former way more than the latter.

Good. Let’s use it to send this fucker and his oligarch buddies in a one way trip to the solar surface. ETA: 8 minutes or something

I have no love for Apple but they know how to produce a (grossly overpriced, disgustingly Westoid level overmarketed) decent product.

Elon Musk can barely build a tunnel or get the panels of his cars to align.

Tesla et al. is a company that sells hype and shares (and tax credits) that happens to be in the automotive business on the side.

Was gonna say this. Apple is definitely overpriced and has horrible business practices but the end product is usually good.

Teslas are not well made and will probably get worse. Also look up the solar panels Solar City (bought by Tesla…renamed I believe) makes. They routinely catch on fire. I could go on.

Elon’s only actual skill is conning people.

Solar City appears to be nothing more than a shell company. They barely produce anything and it’s essentially all vaporware.

I’m uncertain as to the truth of this but I’ve heard that the Chinese high-end market is extremely demanding and they are savage if high-end products don’t live up to expectations. The rumor is that Chinese Teslas have far better construction quality than their western counterparts which have about two coats of paint and more gaps and misalignments than a person who just had their teeth kicked in

Also, this is for SpaceX right? So a rocket engine?

So why is the graphic showing a jet turbine engine? Because we all know that turbine blades are famously effective in a vacuum.
