I hadn’t used my printer in a while and it stopped printing correctly. I thought that probably the cartridge dried in, so I put a new one in. Still doesn’t print correctly. Now I have two opened cartridges and no working printer.
What make and model it is? Perhaps the printheads are separate from the cartridge and thus the printheads dried up as well?
It’s an HP Deskjet F4224.
And yeah, that seems plausible. The magenta ink is coming out of the cartridge, but makes a mess in the printer rather than going onto the paper…

It’s that printers notice when you’re in a hurry
Doesn’t work flawlessly for me unfortunately
I spent like 3 hours yesterday night trying to print some important documents.
I notice Canon didn’t make it to the raid. I wonder what issues of their own making kept them…
Chip shortage.
Buy a used needle printer and some hearing-protection instead :D
What about a color laser printer?
