I use Feeder. https://gitlab.com/spacecowboy/Feeder
Feeder is fantastic.
I use it for all of my YouTube subscriptions so I dont need a Google account.
Also a surprising amount of websites have an RSS feed. In cases where it wasnt immediately visable, a Google search or even asking ChatGPT seemed to work too.
Wow, I never though of asking ChatGPT what the RSS feed for a website is That’s super cool
@FrankTheHealer Using Feeder for Youtube channels is a fantastic idea. I should try that sometime.
Feeder is great

I’ve been using FocusReader for a while now. It costs 7€ a year, but has the IMO the best interface and readability.
Readrops because of integration with freshrss.

In my experience, no app, and I really mean no app comes close to FeedMe for functionality. I use it with a FreshRSS server.
I run TinyTinyRss in the cloud somewhere, and there are a couple android readers that work ok.
I use the official Tiny Tiny RSS Android client. Is there a different client you like better?
Apparently the app has been discontinued. Is there a up to date fork?
I believe this is the updated fork Handy News Reader
I use flym or newsboat via termux. It depends on what I’m trying to look at.
I’ve tried a bunch but I usually just use the web UI these days - using miniflux, which is about as minimalistic as it gets.
I used Feedly until it started selling itself on use to capitalists who want to track disruptive social movements (laughable but sadly true!)
I used Feeder as it’s privacy-focused, though to an extent that when it crashed there was no way for me to retrieve my feeds (it requires no account).
I currently use Inoreader as a compromise. So far, so good.
