I don’t really believe them but there are a slew of harmless ones like cryptids: mothman, loch ness monster, hopkinsville goblins, etc. Lots of modern folk tales that are really interesting as long as you don’t take them too seriously.

The community and media reaction to these stories is usually as interesting as the stories themselves.
