So I bought a domain name the other day. I’m thinking of starting a lemmy instance that is oriented around those of us who happen to live in the midwest of the US. I’d have a similar CoC as this instance and would like to federate with it. Thoughts?

How were things during the eclipse a few years back? pretty crazy I imagine
A lot of people in town and all the hotels were full. Then there were traffic jams when everybody tried leaving at the same time immediately after. On the bright side, got to go into work 4 hours later than usual.
