I know that Lemmy is in early beta, but would hosting an instance now help with identifying issues such as feedback on operating an instance and activity pub issues, etc…?

      You can host one if u like, I’m still working on federation tho so it’d be isolated from the other instances. But if you wanted to host one, I can help out.

        I would like to try to get it up in a FreeBSD jail using ansible. Would that be good info for the wiki if I get it done?

          Sure, I don’t know much about ansible tho. If it can run docker inside it tho then the setup would be simple.

            FreeBSD doesn’t have docker, docker is a linux thing.

              Ah. Well then you’d have to follow the other more manual installs.
