Still, I know what you mean. It’s a serious problem. The only way I can imagine to work is to inform and educate people about the reasoning behind the switch. If people don’t know why they should stop doing something, they will continue.

I obliterated instagram and I can agree that it cuts a lot of ties with ppl of my age.
The solution is to advocate for more interoperability between apps
