Collect money from your subscribers on Comradery, a payment platform that is democratically owned and controlled by every creator who uses it.
Not open source, still uses Stripes as payment management, but seems like it’d be a good alternative for folks who want to stop using Patreon, though some might be turned off by the process to be listed as a creator (requires a 15 minute chat with someone already in the coop) and the amount of work in addition to (meetings for coop management and perhaps also committees?)
Just saying, if you are just trying to replace patreon, there’s liberapay.com and they don’t even take a 2,5% fee like comradery.co does.
As far as I know it’s not ready for the public yet, but I’m optimistic about Snowdrift as a libre funding platform.
Hmm looks interesting, they even got that one libre artist from that filesharing video, but I don’t understand their matching concept. The more people give to a project the more money each of those people gives?! How does make sense and how does this work to sustain stuff long term… Idk I am not convinced at all but obv wish them luck.

Ohhh didn’t know about Snowdrift thanks for mentioning!
It’s a good website as well, but the fee I don’t mind as much, since someone has to pay for general maintence and liberapay gets it from sponsorship and donation to them, which it a harder sell for people to donate to both, and also gives sponsors some influence (its advertising at the end of the day). Both have their pros and cons, like libera seems more transparent
