Running a Catalan Lemmy instance at https://lemmy.cat
The access is controlled by a user database. Only the owner of the bot (the one who runs the code) can add users. Anybody in the muc can post to the fediverse if it’s in the bot user database.
thank you, once updated nginx lemmy.cat’s communities can be followed from Mastodon and Pleroma. Now I hope it will start getting comments from linked Lemmy instances too.
and how to post to them, of course.
ah, nginx is not happy:
recv() failed (104: Connection reset by peer) while reading response header from upstream, client: X.X.X.X, server: lemmy.cat, request: “GET /iframely/oembed?url=http://www.plataforma-llengua.cat HTTP/2.0”, upstream: “http://0.0.0.0:8061/oembed?url=http://www.plataforma-llengua.cat”, host: “lemmy.cat”, referrer: “https://lemmy.cat/create_post?community_id=16”
docker-compose logs -f iframely throws one error: iframely_1 | data: cluster.js:33 - error: Forever detected script was killed by signal: SIGKILL iframely_1 | data: cluster.js:33 - error: Script restart attempt #1 and pictrs logs shows no errors
Finally I switched off lemmy.mastodont.cat and started running a more oficial Lemmy instance at lemmy.cat. Already enabled federation in my lemmy.hjson file. Also added some rules to my sidebar as code of conduct and a short blurb. Thank you!
gràcies! de moment l’intenció és que lemmy.cat perduri en el temps!
I’m loving Lemmy so far so I decided to buy lemmy.cat domain and get down lemmy.mastodont.cat. lemmy.cat will be my “oficial” Lemmy instance. I’m finishing setting it up a bring it online in a few minutes. See you all from there!. cc: @dessalines@lemmy.ml
Thank you! I will try if that is possible.
no, I don’t. I will take a look on it.
