I often use YouTube/invidious over odysee or peertube due to my devices lagging either due to the device being low spec or internet connection or something else. A bunch of Odyssey and peertube videos are only available at 720p or 1080p.
I'm consistently told I don't need a gaming computer and 100 Mbps to play 1080p videos without lag, but 1080p videos have been a problem across every device I've ever owned in my life, and the best device I've owned was a pixel 6, and on 75 Mbps connection. Inb4 I'm told this is my problem I should just deal.
So videos of being automatically scaled down to 360p or 480p would help a lot with adoption.
It gets sublimely discouraging to have the american dream of big house in the suburbs shoved in your face by every american media.
In hk it looks like it costs them an arm and a leg for a small apt, which i totally feel
I do for my jobs that pay me daily. But for the ones that are suppose to pay every 2 weeks or so, i have no idea.
My coworkers talk about the pay days that happen once/2 weeks. I assume they're still in the pay check to pay check situation so they particularly pay attention?
I guess i'll try to figure out when i'm suppose to get paid so i can see if my boss is shorting me since someone else here said they were being short changed.
At least the hood here. Why? I figured ppl who live/spend a lot of time in the hood would know what acab means. I've also only seen acab graffiti irl once ever and that was during the big black lives matter protests of like 2019.
A huge amount of not-caucasians, the caucasians who do ride are often old/disabled. Lots of students of all variety.
I think that the whole car culture is more integral to Caucasian culture, at least over here. I think immigrants r more okay to ride buses.
I was talking to a Japanese lady at a bus stop and she said that eventually she might buy a vehicle due to the transit here sucking compared to Japan.
I heard European pub buses is pretty good, at least compare to here.
I find tv shows incredible lack luster relationship wise, artificial drama over very unrealistic stuff.

> People talk a lot about 500 days of summer and thats definitely useful too. Swingers is good for break ups. Eternal sunshine didn't seem useful.
