Still Sync issues with mp-tube channels
Hi, I still have sync issues with The subscribed Peer Tube instances. for example I'm subscribed to !news@mp-tube.de with my instance: https://lemmy.rimkus.it/c/news@mp-tube.de but the new Posts(Videos) are not autmatically synced. If I click on a Video on the original mp-tube site e.g.: https://mp-tube.de/w/4sH4HgqJXZeYAaKTZPaPY9 and enter that URL in the Search bar of my instance, it is successfully fetched from the site, and after that occurs in my subscribed channel. Is it a known Issue with subscribed peertube channels? is there a solution or any way I can investigate deeper? Thanks in advance :)

Keep up the great work!☺️

In my opinion the world isn’t that black and white. For example in my experience let’s compare eclipse (FOSS) Netbeans (I think it was FOSS too) and Intellij. Eclipse and Netbeans were both great IDE’s in the early days. The open plugin architecture of eclipse made Netbeans a de-facto dead project. But the extremely pluggable architecture of eclipse became the biggest disadvantage, e.g there were plugins which were incompatible together and it happened really fast that you broke your IDE. Besides the many legacy interfaces which were still present because of backwards compatibility made it really difficult for a new plugin developer to know which interface to choose for which functionalities. Then there were Jetbrains with their new (proprietary) IDE Intellij, which came long after eclipse, and increased there Market in a very short time, with a very stable piece of software and a clean and intuitive UI.

I was a long time user and defender of eclipse, but in the last 2 years I worked with Intellij and never looked back.

I have the same Experience and added a similar Support Post here: https://lemmy.rimkus.it/post/6471 The original Post on lemmy.ml has a comment which is (still?) not synced to my instance: https://lemmy.ml/post/422912 and on another instance (sopuli.xyz) there is another comment: https://sopuli.xyz/post/250746, and the one from lemmy.ml isn’t synced too. So I think there’s definately s.th. broken with Comments Sync

Issue with syncing Comments of a Comment
Hi, I have a weird behaviour of Syncing Comments. According to the [Troubleshoot](https://join-lemmy.org/docs/en/administration/troubleshooting.html#other-instances-cant-fetch-local-objects-community-post-etc) section for testing synchronisation, it should be possible to retrieve comments via: `curl -H "Accept: application/activity+json" https://your-instance.com/comment/123 # the id of a local comment` That works for Comments which are **direct** responses to a post, e.g. The response https://lemmy.ml/post/421708/comment/253216 (shortcut url: https://lemmy.rimkus.it/comment/1701) can be successfully retrieved via: `curl -H "Accept: application/activity+json" https://lemmy.rimkus.it/comment/1701` **But** The Answer Comment to that Comment: https://lemmy.ml/post/421708/comment/253238 (Shortcut url: https://lemmy.ml/comment/253238) **can not be retrieved** via : `curl -H "Accept: application/activity+json" https://lemmy.ml/comment/253238` This leads to the issue that these Comments are not synced to **my** instance https://lemmy.rimkus.it. Is it a known issue? Can I do anything to get Response Comments to Comments Synced to my instance? Thanks in advance Jonny

really good trick, the downside (for me) is that after a big meal I’m tired and lazy which unfortunately leads me to not being able to be so tricky ;)

Hello Lemmy!
This is my Lemmy instance, and I'm leaving this comment to pass the moderation to my "regular" account

Doesn’t sym linking the theme works too? I’m using the alternatives way in Ubuntu

Which peer tube Version is known to work with Lemmy? I always have the following behaviour:

I only get a few videos synced once (after subscribing) and then nothing new is synced from this peer tube instance. I tested on my own Lemmy instance and lemmy.ml

I like SearxNG. There are many free instances and it’s relatively easy to host your own🙂

Yep, mine is sleeping the whole evening and in that moment, when I decide to go to bed, she magically wake up and Jump n Runs through the whole flat

Cool, finally a desktop addition to the Android ultrasonic app. There is Sonixd as an alternative for the Desktop, wich is pretty nice too 🙂

Dem ist nichts mehr hinzuzufügen. Hoffentlich wird das nicht trotzdem durchgeboxt. Meiner Meinung erhält das Thema viel zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit in der Öffentlichkeit

I would love to have a flawless integration into Lemmy🙃

PGadmin4 backup/restore not working via uwsgi and nginx reverse proxy
Hi, I have exactly the same problem as described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PostgreSQL/comments/osb3t7/pgadmin_5_uwsgi_and_nginx_will_not_allow_db I'm using the latest [pgadmin4 version 6.11](https://www.postgresql.org/ftp/pgadmin/pgadmin4/v6.11/pip/) via uwsgi and nginx reverse proxy. And when I try to use the backup feature I see exact same error: ` /home/my_username/.local/bin/uwsgi: unrecognized option '--host' getopt_long() error ` has anyone a solution for me? :)

Works nice with the next loud music app🙂

By the way, for Android I can recommend ultrasonic

But the errors stay the same. Thanks in advance :)
