I tend to like the volunteer-read audiobooks on librivox and recently was curious about their Sherlock Holmes books (never read or listened to before), but I’m wondering what else is out there and popular in the community.

For something out of the ordinary, you can get Doña Barbara, is a classic 20 century venezuelan novel written by Rómulo Gallegos. It’s a mandatory classic here. It’s currently public domain, like many of his other books. Also, don’t forget about Oscar Wilde and dracula by Bram Stoker.
