why should anyone use edge when running linux

I use edge on my Linux desktop because it works well with Microsoft Office web apps. I hate Microsoft and I’ve gotten into trouble at work for pushing against it vocally but this seems like a minor victory to me that I don’t have to use windows to complete my day to day job because Microsoft came to me (Linux) instead of me to them (Windows). Office 365 is still literal trash btw.

I guess a webdev could want to make sure their website works fine on all browsers, or maybe because of some silly corporate requirements. Anyway the option is always good to have, because someone might need it.

If they bring their DRM over, 4k playback on some sites.

The Edge Browser is nice you want hate it but you just can’t i like that you can crate WebApps and your extension are still working :)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
