I forget which was the last episode I stopped on while watching anime or TV shows, any way to track them?

I’ve tried using Kodi seems like an overkill for what I wanna do, and I’m not comfy with the whole interface of kodi.

Thanks, in advance!

If you use MPV, pressing Shift+q, it saves current position and reopens it later automatically.

I just open an entire folder with MPV ($ mpv ~/media/[Judas]Bleach/).

For tracking which shows I’ve seen I use Episodes

(accidentally posted so it continues here)

Episodes from f-droid. It’s kinda ugly but it works. It also shows which shows have specials and new seasons. Some people just use MAL and that’s fine too.

Libreoffice Calc works :), but I personally use Jellyfin. Although I’m afraid if Kodi is overkill, Jellyfin might be overkill-overkill.

Hey! Thanks, I’m currently on their website seems amazing!

Wow! This is so comprehensive. This is precisely what I was looking for thanks in loads, I was wondering if it was possible to integrate the anime db app with https://anime-downlader.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ it would be pretty handy.

Sorry that I can’t be of much help but I don’t use anime-dl so it would be hard for me to provide any reliable info. But AniDB doesn’t provide any links to watching anime (except for a few licensed platforms) so it probably won’t be of much help when searching for download links. But if you download files from groups (which seems to be the case looking at your example with [Judas]), AniDB does have file checksums for many groups so you can mark episodes as watched and query anime info basing on it. I’m unable to give any specifics though, sorry.

      F-droid gives 3 red flags

      1. Depends on non-free apps
      2. Promotes non free services
      3. Tracks and reports

Did you look into these by any chance?
