I dont really like you have to pay to beable to use extensions, is there any other selfhosting encrpted notes like SN?
Joplin lets you use Nextcloud and other cloud services (including WebDAV) and works quite well in my experience.

You could look at https://tinylist.app/, which allows for self hosting… But it is pretty basic atm.
I don’t mind paying for the extensions as it supports the opensource project (they provide the basics for free)…
