This new anti-terror law allows the federal police to put under electronic surveillance any swiss citizen without any judicial oversight. It also authorize the Federal Police to place under house arrest people as young as 12 with little oversight. New definition of terrorism is also extremely vague; anybody that wants to influence political order through fear or terror may be considered a terrorist threat.
Not surprising when one considers that Switzerland is one of the countries which allied with USA in their war against Julian Assange/Wikileaks.

Next you’re gonna tell me we’re gonna see PEGI-like stamps regarding the age at which on can be arrested, on new laws. This is ridiculus.It’s also blatantly unconstitutional. but they wont care as long as the Federal Court wont have ruled it as unlawful, which I hope it will do. There is also little hope regarding a nationwide referendum ; we managed to collect only 10k signatures. we have until early january to get to 50k.
I have the feeling covid is not going to help, as well, in collecting the necessary signatures, but I might be wrong, depending on how Switzerland does its chores.
well its still allowed to collect signatures, even during a worldwide pandemia. its just that events like the ones that happened in france and austria arent really helping.
France seems to have one called the “apology for terrorism act” too, that they arrest children out of classrooms for.
