Bring a post hole digger and dig the holes a metre deep.

Absolutely stupid. They should have salted the greens and dug holes in it! Way more effective.

Oof can you imagine salting them? Even as a casual golfer I’d have to admire that dedication for the cause

What does “salting the greens” means? Surely not literally putting salt onto it. Or does it mean that?

That’s what I meant by it, putting salt on grass kills it (by burning it). I remember at high school some graduating students used salt to draw a penis on the grass area at the entrance.

Sounds rather odd to me that climate activists would go and poison soil based on who currently “owns” that plot of land, and based on what the owners are doing there.

Doesn’t this make the situation worse for the environment?

With hydrochloric acid is more Eco friendly. Because you don’t need a lot on a plant’s roots to kill it, and HCL is very common in nature (it’s in your stomach) and therefore nature is more capable of breaking it back down, after it kills all the grass of course.

I don’t see how this will be an issue for the golf courses. It’s trivial to move the hole.

    They need something more destructive
