    The only thing I care about is a fix for the joycon drift issue that’s been present since launch. This is the third Switch iteration and still no word about this. I hope they fix it with Switch 2.0 or whatever they’re going to call it. I really want one, but I am not willing to shell out 70€+ every time one of the joycons goes wonky.

      Admittedly I’ve never owned any Nintendo game consoles, but the conspiratorial side of me might think that the joycon drift thing might be an attempt at planned obsolescence. After all, Nintendo has an absolute monopoly on many beloved game franchises so they could totally pull off something like this and still get plenty of sales.

        True, but that’s not really a long-term solution, is it? Nintendo isn’t going to keep replacing them forever.

    I’ve never owned a Nintendo device, I’m just disappointed that they monopolise their IP for their own hardware.

    Pointless upgrade IMO if they don’t fix the dang joystick problem
